A Tree Is Worth More Dead | The Bayat Beat [020]
Sunday Sep 13, 2020
Sunday Sep 13, 2020
A tree is worth more dead, a whale is worth more dead, but is the United States worth more dead? Pulling back the veil of lies, looking through the fog of deception is like fishing from a polluted river. The river does not care what you catch, but you and the family you are feeding care. How do we pull back that veil when our own creations tempts us with the fog of deceit? Can we really say no, when all we have heard is, yes? If a tree is worth more dead, then why keep it alive? Has a holy war been raging for millennia? Will artificial intelligence eventually conquer the souls of humans? Why is the United States so adamant on spreading capitalism through imperialistic means? And how many more lives must be spent before justice is served?

Monday Jun 08, 2020
Monday Jun 08, 2020
Political leaders around the world have seem to forgotten the past and those who forget the past are bound to repeat it. But those of us who have not forgot the past have taken to the streets, to social media and the very essence of life itself. Revolution has sparked in the United States and around the world, we the people have not forgotten the March On Washington, we have not forgotten World War II, we have not forgotten the countless genocide and slavery, we have not forgotten the freedom our ancestors fought blood sweat and tears for. And now that freedom is threatened. We the people are calling for revolution against fascist dictatorship, but how much of this is genuine? Where was this call for revolution four months ago with Bernie Sanders? Is this all the result of a failing economy and people being locked away in there homes, the resistance of a caged lion? Is this finally the fall of an empire or the start of a new one?

We are possibly entering a new era of plagues. Will humanity at its current state survive these pathogens or will our future children have to be genetically modified? With the rise of genetic modification in our foods, animals and even humans this may mean a radical change in our society, but is this ethical? Are we taking from the Tree of Knowledge once again? Should autism and down-syndrome be eradicated for the sake of human perfection? And will nations go to war for the right to breed super-soldiers? It is truly a brave new world, the foundations of our society will be challenged, the rights of humanity will be toggled, and the new age will be met with a clash of ideologies, ethics and morality.
