We are possibly entering a new era of plagues. Will humanity at its current state survive these pathogens or will our future children have to be genetically modified? With the rise of genetic modification in our foods, animals and even humans this may mean a radical change in our society, but is this ethical? Are we taking from the Tree of Knowledge once again? Should autism and down-syndrome be eradicated for the sake of human perfection? And will nations go to war for the right to breed super-soldiers? It is truly a brave new world, the foundations of our society will be challenged, the rights of humanity will be toggled, and the new age will be met with a clash of ideologies, ethics and morality.
